To celebrate the end of the year, Lancaster Bible College l Capital Seminary and Graduate School held its annual BBQ Bash. From 3-5p.m. on April 26, students were able to enjoy the beautiful weather outside while fellowshipping with their peers and faculty.

At the Bash, students were able to enjoy delicious pork or chicken sandwiches fresh off the barbeque and served by faculty with a smile. For dessert, students could have their choice of cherry, blue raspberry or mango Rita’s.

“I enjoyed the nice weather while eating Rita’s with my friends,” Jax Felder, a sophomore, said.

On the sand volleyball court, there was a student vs. faculty game. A crowd gathered around the volleyball court, loudly cheering on the competitors. Both teams fought hard, but this year, the staff team came out with the victory. When the main event game ended, students were encouraged to start their own volleyball games.

“Playing beach volleyball was for sure my favorite part of the day,” Natalie Wenger, a freshman, said.

Around the court, in various grassy areas, were other lawn games. Cornhole, 9 Square in the Air and Gaga Ball were just some of the games that were being played while upbeat music filled the air.

For those who enjoy a slower pace, chairs and benches were available in the shade to just sit and get to know those around them.

This Bash was a blast and provided students and faculty with a nice, relaxing day before finals week kicks off.
